#Durianium—Cultivating the king of fruits from the ground up

Not too long ago, our vehicle got stuck on a steep, sandy hill as we were transporting durian Sultan (D24) seedlings from our home to the durian orchard. But with some determination, we managed to bring all 10 of them safely to the farm.

After planting, fertilizing, and pruning the first four trees, today we continued by planting the remaining six. For each planting spot, we mixed the soil with burnt rice husks, termite repellent, and antifungal treatment. We’re giving these premium seedlings the best possible start in life.

The Sultan (D24) variety is known for its exquisite taste and high market value. That’s why we’re so excited and hopeful that one day these trees will reward our care with an extraordinary harvest.
