In addition to planting various types of durian and other fruit trees in our orchard and Grandma’s garden, we’ve ventured into a new experiment: growing Jupiter and Cotton Candy grapevines at home. With just 0.25 square meters of space in front of our house, we set out to see how much we could achieve with these renowned grape varieties.
Jupiter grapes are celebrated for their ease of care and pest resistance, while Cotton Candy grapes are known for their incredible sweetness and seedless convenience. To give them the best start, we enriched the soil with vermicompost to ensure it was fertile and loose and added Vitamin B-1 to promote strong, healthy growth. When we first planted the Jupiter grapevine, it stood at just 1.5 meters tall, around three months old.
To our delight, in just 2-3 months, the grapevines grew nearly threefold! Today, we took steps to safeguard their progress by spraying the leaves with a protective solution containing insecticide and antifungal agents. This small but essential act of care is part of our hope to nurture the vines into producing sweet, high-quality grapes.
It’s amazing to think that from such a tiny patch of land, we’re cultivating something so promising. Soon, we’ll be able to enjoy the fruits of our labor—literally! If this experience has taught us anything, it’s that even the smallest spaces can yield big rewards when cared for with effort and love.
Who else is ready to transform the tiniest spaces into sources of joy, beauty, and abundance?
