#Durianium—Melons of joy from Grandma’s garden

In addition to watermelons, we also tried planting melons on the land at Yarik, Naya, and Eva’s grandma’s house. This time, we planted them directly in the ground.

To our delight, many of the melon plants grew well and yielded sweet, delicious fruits. It’s incredibly satisfying to see how the available land can be turned into a productive space, providing us with fresh and nutritious produce.

Thanks to the melon harvest, we didn’t need to buy fruits from the market for several weeks. These homegrown melons not only met our vitamin and mineral needs but also brought immense joy to our gardening journey.

There’s something special about growing and enjoying the fruits of your own labor—it’s fulfilling, sustainable, and oh so sweet!
