#Durianium—Planting the fig trees

At Auntie’s and Grandma’s houses—Yarik, Naya, and Eva’s beloved family homes—we decided to transform unused land into a thriving garden. In addition to durian trees, we planted a variety of fig trees!

From Red Israel to Green Jordan, Tiger, Iraqi, Brown Turkiye, Blue Giant, Italian and many more, we explored the fascinating world of figs. Surprisingly, fig trees are easy to grow and require minimal maintenance. They flourish with little effort, adding life and beauty to the space.

There’s immense satisfaction in turning an idle piece of land into something both beautiful and useful. This transformation isn’t just about planting trees; it’s about nurturing happiness and creating something meaningful for everyone around us.

This is what defines us, the Durianium Family—building joy, one plant at a time. 🌿💚
